Allin Landscaping is a locally and family-owned design-build company serving Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin and the wider Williamson County area. George Allin leads the design and the contracting, his son Jonathan Allin leads the finish landscaping, and the company is a licensed General Contractor with the State of Tennessee, insured, and a Best of Houzz award winner every year since 2017.
The designer
George Allin
George has spent close to thirty years in landscaping, and it shows in how the first meeting runs. Our stated approach is to listen attentively to what a homeowner actually needs rather than promote a plan we already had drawn. Clients bring their own saved ideas and photos, and the first drawing comes out of that conversation, not a catalog.
From there every client gets a design drawing of the whole property and a detailed, itemized cost estimate, so the scope is settled before anything is dug. As a licensed General Contractor with the State of Tennessee, George’s team then carries the pool, the structure, the kitchen, the fire features, the patios, the drainage and the lighting through to final construction as one project, not a series of subcontractors handed off to each other.

The finish
Jonathan Allin
Jonathan leads the finish landscaping on Allin projects, the planting and grading work that happens after the pool, the pavilion and the hardscape are built. One client who had George design and contract an entire backyard rebuild specifically called out Jonathan for finishing the landscaping on that same job, start to finish, family to family.
